Our flexible flat copper braids (copper tape) are made from 0.15 mm and 0.1 mm dia copper wire and are braided into a tube followed by a rolling process to flatten them. These are more flexible than braid made with 0.2 mm dia wire and can be stacked to provide increased current rating / flexibility and can also be stacked to reduce the width for a given current rating.
They are used as earthing straps and in numerous electrical components. Current ratings
These flat copper braids are made from electrolytic copper Cu-ETP (grade C101) and are RoHS compliant.
