Our most economical standard flat copper braid is made from 0.20 dia wire and are braided into a tube followed by a rolling process to flatten them. Lower current ratings are made from smaller diameter wire which improves flexibility.
They are used as earthing straps and are also used in numerous electrical components. A current ratings table is available for your reference.
These flat copper braids can be made from electrolytic copper Cu-ETP (grade C101) or from Oxygen Free Copper and in a wide range of finishes. All our copper braids are RoHS compliant.

Flat copper braid can be made into Earth Straps used for earthing and electrical bonding applications, as flexible electrical connectors and for lightning protection. These can be purchased from our Online shop or made up to your requirements at our Liverpool factory.
